The Charles "Butch" Olofson Shooting Range and Training Center is a state owned shooting/training facility.  The range is located  north of Polk City off of NW Madrid Drive, immediately adjacent to public hunting land surrounding Big Creek State Park.  Click here for map. 

Management

    The Olofson Range is operated by Michael Warman of Warman Management LLC. Our objective for the range is to provide safe and professional service.  Long term goals include the addition of an archery tower, competitive and registered shoots, and an expanded line of products and accessories. 

Facilities

    The facilities include two 50 yard ranges available for handgun, rifle, shotgun slug, and muzzle loaders.  A 100 yard range is set up for bench rest shooting.  Also located at Olofson Range is a league approved trap/skeet field.  A 60 person capacity conference and training room is available to rent for conferences, meetings, etc.
